Photography
High quality photography, just like well-written content, communicates your message more clearly, and sets the tone for your website.
Whether it’s employee photographs, images to accompany case studies or photographs of events, handing a point-and-shoot camera to a member of staff isn’t going to get the results you need.
The demand for good images is only increasing as more organizations make more use of social media channels, and update their sites more regularly with news stories. If you don’t have a good-quality photograph of it, it didn’t happen.
When I’m not building websites, I’m a professional photographer, concentrating on editorial work, events and children’s portraits.
My images have been published by New Mexico Magazine, the Santa Fe New Mexican, and JPG Magazine print edition.
Other photo clients include the Santa Fe International Folk Art Market (an image from the 2011 Market is shown right), The Lensic Performing Arts Center, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Rio Grande School and Gentle Nudge Pre-school.
Training
I also offer training and workshops to help you get the most out of your images if you will be taking the photographs yourself. It’s not always about what sort of camera you have – thinking about composition, framing, and choosing the right location for the photographs can greatly improve the result.
